The nearest airport is Poitiers (Ryanair flies daily from Stansted, near London) or Limoges. Both airports have car hire available.

For those flying into Paris (Charles de Gaulle) airport there is a TGV service which takes 2 hours to Poitiers. 

Alternatively from the Gare Montparnasse you can reach Ruffec (20 minutes drive south of Civray) by TGV in 1 1/2 hours. 

Bordeaux airport is approximately 3 hours drive away.

Collection from airport by registered driver is possible (prices are available on request). Car and/or bicycle hire available locally.

Also for those who prefer not to drive, excursions for shopping/sightseeing are available with registered driver (details are available on request). St. Saviol railway station, 7km away, provides a frequent service to Poitiers, and the means to reach other regions by TGV.
